Trip to Idaho and a birthday

Back by popular demand-- more hair fun. It's too long to actually style. Maybe when he's bigger and holds still long enough for a haircut.


Love love love these pictures of Kate at my parents house in Idaho. I took the kids for a few days, and it was great. They traveled really well. Kian tolerated his car seat like a pro. Lily was sick for the last 3 days we were there, but it was still a great trip for us. Might as well be sick at Grandma's house as at your own house, right?

Kian loved all the floor space. He would bump into furniture, and we would turn him around until he bumped into something else. It's amazing how well he moves on his back.


The birthday present.

Lily turned 5. She is excited to start school and will have a hard time waiting until August. She decided that she wanted to wear all size 5 clothes, and they were all too big for her. So she wore too big clothes all day. She sounded a bit disappointed when I asked her if she felt older and she said, "I feel the same as when I was four!"
