Partying

This is Kian in the Bumbo. It is helping him learn to sit up, and it's nice to have him sit still in one place for a few minutes.

They are growing up, aren't they?

We went to Quinn's first birthday party at the park, and the girls loved this playground.

The kids one day after church.

I am loving little boy ties. I think that will be my new project-- learning how to make them.

We had a little party for some friends to come meet Kian. Chris got out his big camera and got some great shots. It was nice of the weather to stop raining for one whole day for us.

Quinn checking out Kian. She was due the same day as Kian and we spent lots of time together in the NICU. Oh, and she's 2 weeks older than Kian.

Kian checking out Quinn. He spent most of his time watching her.

My cousin Anjie's baby, James. He's about the same age as Quinn and Kian's adjusted age. It was fun to see what a normal baby does.

The cousins came over later that day and spent the night. There are three boys, and they had a great time playing together.

Easter and another birthday

Easter is a very low key affair at our house. Saturday we dyed eggs. That was about if for our celebration. The week before, the girls went to a primary egg hunt at the church.

Again? Seriously?

Kian got a new brace to wear on his right arm while he plays and does his exercises. It is supposed to help him learn to bear weight on his shoulder without his elbow buckling. He doesn't hate it, but he has figured out how to wiggle it off his elbow.

Kate turned 3! And its about time. I have felt like she was three for a while now.

She asked for pink cake with chocolate frosting, so that's what I made for her. She loved it. She ate all the frosting off of every piece we gave her... and left all the pink cake.

He's growing up, too!

Kian playing with our new iPad. It's actually a great therapy tool for Kian, when he's not trying to eat it. And it's just fun for the rest of us. And Chris uses it for churchy stuff.
