Slip and slide

We went to Hyde Park for a mission to hear my niece speak in church before leaving for her mission.  While we were there, we decided to try out the "slip and slide" that apparently has been so popular.  Chris procured some vinyl from the throw-out pile at work, and gave it to Tandy's family, who just happen to live in the perfect spot for one of these.  This thing is seriously long.  And fun.

Anna shows us how it's supposed to be done.

Kian went down on Chris's lap a few times, then we sent him down backwards on his tummy.  He'd get to the bottom and say, "I'm okay."

This is Sister Ailee Olsen, going to the Indonesia Jakarta mission.  We are so proud of her, and love her so much.

We moved!

This is our new house.  Still in West Valley, but farther north and west.  So far, we love it.  We felt like it would be beneficial for Kian and me if we got rid of the all the stairs that we have been living with in our old house.  Kian's walking has come a long way since we moved, and he is getting stronger.

Olsen Reunion

In June we went to our annual Olsen family reunion.  This year we went to a house near Bear Lake.  It was a blast, and the kids loved the play room and the slides that went from floor to floor.  The adults loved not having to worry about the kids.

We went to the Minnetonka caves that weren't too far away.

The theater room was a favorite of the kids.

 Family game time.

Okay, maybe the grown-ups liked the play room too.

We stopped for raspberry shakes.  Yum.

The whole family, minus Haden and Taylor.

Bike Parade

Our ward primary had a bike parade for Flag day.  It was lots of fun, and the kids had a great time.
