Halloween Fun

Trick-or-treating. Kate was a rainbow princess, Lily was Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter. Kian was Jake and Chris was Cubby from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. The neighbor boys helped make the pirate ship wagon.

The candy haul.

Chris won his division (scariest) at work in the costume contest.  He got a $50 gift card to Olive Garden.

We had a youth activity where the youth invited the primary kids to do games at the church.

We took apart an old radio.

We stopped at Shoshone Falls on the way home from Boise. It's impressive.

Fun Around Town

General Conference coloring and candy... a great tradition at our house.

Our new tent for backyard camping.

Fun at the City Creek play area.

Daddy daughter date night at Menchies.

Hanging out in the hammock.

Kite flying in the park.

More fun in hotel pools, this time in Boise while there for Megan's baptism.

The crew supporting Megan.

Las Vegas Vacation

The girls had a party. They ate pizza and watched Disney's Descendants.

We had a great vacation to Las Vegas. On the way, we stopped at Cove Fort.  It was one of the favorite parts of the trip for both girls.

And the St. George temple and visitors center.

We stayed at Embassy Suites in Vegas and loved their pool.

Fremont Street was an experience. The ceiling was all lights, and there was a zip line running the whole length of the street.  Kian spent most of the time looking up.

We visited the Las Vegas temple.  I'd never been there, and I thought it was beautiful.

The Mirage.

Carlo's Bakery (the Cake Boss). We had some YUMMY treats there.

The Venetian.

The Bellagio.

The Botanical Garden in the Bellagio.

Another favorite stop for the girls.

Caesar's Palace.  We walked about 10 miles that day.

Hoover Dam.

Zion National Park bus.

Kate says Zions was "Amazing!"

We did a small hike to Weeping Rock.

We had a great vacation and made lots of memories.

Odds and ends

We went to Temple Square.  Guess who rode on the escalator for 20 minutes while sisters explored the visitor's center?

Chris got to spent the day at school for their Watch Dogs program. I think they all had fun.

He helped out in Lily's and Kian's classes.

And went to recess with Kate.

And of course he got some great pictures of the moon eclipse.

We may be biased, but these kids are gorgeous
