La-La-Love me like you do

Kian really enjoys going to this doctor's office.  They have letter blocks.  What could be better than letter blocks? This is his rehab doctor's office.

Kate is quite an artist.

Lily loves playing games on the computer.

Chris got to take the girls to a U of U gymnastics meet.

Lily won tickets to a Jazz game at school, where she saw her friend Leora.

Kate got to dance in her first school dance program.  They both did a great job.

Kian's VP shunt failed.  He had been sick and we finally decided it must be his shunt.  Three hours after getting him to the hospital, he had a new shunt.

The next day, he felt better and got to go home.  We are so grateful for modern medicine.

A new favorite past-time for the girls:  listening to Tumblebooks on headphones.

He looks like he's in trouble, but we were just really impressed with the sidewalk chalk on his body.

I was so thrilled to get Kian to wear flip-flops.  And he actually walked in them!

Easter!

Lily was in a play for her third grade class.  She loved being in a play, and now says she wants to be an actress.

Chris salvaged a broken Go-Pro camera that he bought for $3.85.  I think he likes it.

Lily's birthday.  She's 9.

These kids have too much fun taking apart electronics.  This is our old VCR.  And our neighbor, Elise.

Kian had tendon lengthening surgery at Shriners.  He did fabulous and came home the same day.

It took him about a week to figure out how to walk afterwards, and then he was off without his walker.

We had baby birds again this year.  The only way we can see in is with the camera.

Superhero day at school.  I was so proud of our home made costumes.

Kate's birthday.  She's seven.

My brother's garden boxes Chris helped build.

Our strawberry patch.

 My birthday.

Last day of Kian's 4-year old preschool.  Yes, he is sitting in the cube chair wrong.  Whatever.

Ms Amy

Lily's class did art the last few weeks of school.  Her pear is the third from the bottom, second from the right.

Enjoying our patio.

Kian's birthday.  He's five.

Awkward cheesy grin.

I took Kate and Kian to Library day at the park. Kian loves ambulances.

We tried hard to potty train Kian for about a day and a half.  We'll try again later.

We like to pretend that we can play tennis.

Chris got to go to activity days with Lily and play water games.

Why is Grandpa hugging a tree?

Parkinson family reunion in Blackfoot.

Father and sons campout.  Kian also loves tents.  Also, awkward cheesy grin.

Lily's cabbage that she grew for a third grade contest.  It weighed 12 pounds and went bad before we could eat it.

Lily's piano recital.  She played "Hedwig's Theme" from Harry Potter.

Bobby and Marilee's family came for a few days of fun.  We hiked Silver Lake.

And had a water fight in the back yard.

And made giant bubbles.

The kids got to play at Deidre's house while I was at girls camp and youth conference.  They have lots of fun while they are there.

Longmore family reunion in Blackfoot.
